Even with all that is going on now, there is still so much beauty around us and much to be grateful for. As I sit here listening to the beautiful sounds of a singing bird I realize I have to try to be like that bird.

I’m so truly grateful for a supportive loving family. Sons, daughters, 18 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. I’m grateful for my life and my husband who has stood by me supporting me through my health Challenges, while doing everything from work to cooking , laundry, numerous hospital stays and important surgery this past February. I would not have had the will to continue without them all. I’m truly grateful for every day that I awake .
I’m grateful for my husband. I was in such a dark deep place when we reconnected after high school. He reminded me why I love ME and he guided me back to his light.
Some days I can only manage to be grateful for running water and a flush toilet. Other days I find gratitude in the large and the small, the blessings, and also thanks to the roadblocks that kept me from going where I didn’t know I shouldn’t go. I believe, I believe the simple prayer of thanks is enough.
Last night on the way home I say the most beautiful sky right after sunset. I was going to take a photo but instead decided to stay in the moment and just enjoy the splendor of it. The miracle of this life I have. I was fill with a profound sense of gratitude. In stressful times I am going to go back to that image and recall the overwhelming gratitude I felt.
